In Delhi Government and Private Schools will be promoted directly to the next class from nursery to VIII

Deputy chief minister and minister of education Manish Sisodia has made a major announcement in the lockdown for children affected by school closure. He has said children in government and private schools will be promoted directly to the next class from nursery to VIII. He made a conscious decision under the Right to Education Act's no-detention policy.

Sisodia said Class 12 teachers would be teaching to children through online interactive classes from the first week of April. The same pattern will be adopted a few days later for students in 10th grade. Activity classes will be available online and from nursery to eighth via phone. Through this, the teacher must give a message to the number of the parent who is being asked to do an activity every day. Children would write in their answer sheet about this activity.

After this, the children will have to get their copy checked by the teachers when the schools open. The numbers of this activity are to be added to internal examinations. The decision has been made for Class IX after consultation with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
