Travelling from Delhi to Meerut will be easy, the AD Bank has approved the setting up of 30 thousand crore in the Rapid Rail Corridor.

In the Rapid Rail Corridor between Delhi and Meerut, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) has given the approval of 30 thousand crores of investment. In addition, the bank will also invest in four metro projects between the two cities.

According to the agency, the director of ADB South Asia, General Hun Kim said on Wednesday that the bank is in discussions with several multi-lateral funding agencies that, in Bhopal, Indore, become a co-investor in Metro projects in many cities of the country.

This corridor will be 82 km and with this the distance between Delhi and Meerut can be fixed in less than 60 minutes. The best means of transport is Rapid Rail RRTS is the country's first rail based high-speed regional transit system of its kind. When it starts operating, it will become the fastest, most convenient and most secure means of transport in the National Capital Region (NCR).
