Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) is planning to establish up 100 Self-Dependent, Self-Reliance Connect centres in five states of India to promote entrepreneurial spirit. This initiative under SIDBI's Mission Swavalamban is for the purpose that more and more people in society should become job creators.
The five states to be covered under this initiative will be Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha and Telangana. 100 Swavalamban Connect Centers to help 7,000 enterprises set up from the very beginning These 100 Swavalamban Connect centres will help in setting up 7,000 enterprises from the very beginning level and also provide support for developing existing livelihoods/enterprises.
SIDBI has added Let's Endorse Development Private Limited to facilitate this initiative. The main objective of this initiative is to move beyond the stage of awareness, to help them set up an enterprise by providing proper support to the enterprise and the query of the enterprise, and to provide gaps and provide hand holding to bridge the gaps, help in loan recovery etc. The mission is to strengthen self-reliance. SIDBI Chairman and Managing Director Mohammad Mustafa, IAS stated, “This initiative is a part of our SIDBI Vision 2.0 under which Mission Swavalamban is one of our all-inclusive initiatives.
The move is aimed at going beyond awareness and providing support to make entrepreneurs' dreams come true. Our aim is to reach out to the youth and the newly serviced / under-served sub-regions to prepare them for a new India. ” This service will be operational from November 1, 2019 SIDBI has also introduced a toll-free missed call service (1800-200-1265), on which interested entrepreneurs can place missed calls for assistance related to setting up of enterprises. This service will be operational from November 1, 2019.
Based on the Postal Index Number (PIN) of the place to be called, the lead / call will be directed to the nearest SCK for desired assistance.
