Union Railway Minister of India Piyush Goyal has launched and stared the service of the Indian Railway's UTS app (Unreserved Ticketing System App) across the country. Through the UTS app, you can book tickets anywhere within the entire 5 km radius of the entire country to your mobile from the unreserved i.e General ticket, platform ticket.
By releasing this app, the long lines on the ticket windows will be reduced and the railway passengers will get tickets easily without running away from railway stations. Works like UTS app to book tickets with UTS app, you need to download UTS on mobile from your Google Play Store or Apple Store on your smartphone.
You will have to register your mobile number with an app download. Now you have to enter the name of the station where the name of the station from where you are traveling and where to go, to book the ticket. After the name of the station you will get the price of the ticket and the payment option will come. For this, you can make payments with digital payments such as your debit or credit card, or railway wallet.
Book tickets in paperless and paper mode According to Indian Railways, you can book tickets in paperless and paper mode. If you book a paperless ticket, this app will check your current location. If you are not inside the train and in the railway premises, your ticket will be booked. After this you can go to the railway station without hardcopy.
While booking paperless tickets, you will find ticket details only on the phone.
